Join Meet Market Adventures and other single “photo buffs” as we explore The Mountain - one of Montreal’s parkland treasures, through the lens of our cameras.
As we walk the trails of Mount Royal, our instructor will teach us not to be afraid to get down and dirty to get that perfect shot. We will explore the most picturesque spots, so we can feel inspired by the colours and the ever-changing scenery while we learn to take great nature photographs.
Whether you have a digital or manual camera you will learn about lighting, shutter speeds, f-stops and most importantly composition. So regardless if you’re a seasoned photographer or just getting to know your camera, you will find this adventure informative, light hearted and a visual feast for the soul.
What to bring: Please dress for the weather as this is a rain or shine event. Wear comfortable shoes with sturdy soles and bring your camera of course!
Note: about 11:45 AM, we will stop for a coffee and a snack (members may bring their own food or buy it in the chalet).
